Professional Experience

Brooke joined Morrison & Sawers in 2011 as a lawyer and has been a Director since 2018.

Brooke practices in litigation and dispute resolution having extensive experience in State Courts and State Administrative Tribunals.

Brooke’s priority is to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients in an efficient and cost effective manner while maintaining a strong commercial focus. She appreciates how commercial disputes can impact the operation of a business and works hard to formulate strategies for successful alternative dispute resolution options.

Brooke has a broad range of experience in commercial matters including, insolvency, contract, property, consumer and competition, and trusts and estate matters.

Brooke also has a particular interest in general commercial law, including contracts, business sales and acquisitions, wills and estate planning, probate and trusts. She is routinely involved in all aspects of property transactions including the preparation of, and review and advice on, contracts for sale, transfer duty advice, due diligence and settlements. Brooke acts for a wide range of clients on matters ranging from the sale and purchase of residential property though to the acquisition and disposal of large scale commercial properties and farming properties. Brooke has a strong working knowledge of the Victorian and New South Wales Office of State Revenue who both play key roles in property transactions.

Outside of work Brooke enjoys spending time with her family, in particular her husband, two young children and the two family dogs. When Brooke’s not in the office, she and her family love to get away for the weekend in their caravan.
